"Sketch Freedom 2nd International Cartoon Expo" (Gothenburg, Sweden)


The "Sketch Freedom 2nd International Cartoon Expo" will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from January to February 2015.
The exhibition will feature the work of Franck Moulin, Peter Broelman, Vladmir Kazanevsky, Nathalie Bödtker-Lund, Fifion Ribana, Angel Boligán, Liza Donnelly, Iiris-Lilja Kuosmanen, Riber Hansson, Karl-Magnus Johansson, Damien Glez, Jaume Capdevila, Victor BogoradJohan Asplund as weel as my own.



Sketch Freedom" movement started in 2013 from Normandy, the same place that thousands of humans sacrificed their lives to give freedom to France and Europe to end the World War II. It’s a world movement for exiled cartoonists that proudly started its world premiere in Gothenburg during the festival. 
Kianoush Ramezani, the Iranian exiled cartoonist and activist is the founder of this movement. The 2nd Sketch Freedom Expo will show the artworks that manifest the value of freedom of expression; the artists are from all over the world. Their artworks published in major world journals like The New Yorker, Washington Post, Courrier International, Moscow Times, El Universal, etc.
